how to check which programs are slowing down my pc at win startup
 

Yesterday I did a fresh-n-clean Win Xp install. First thing after installing Win was to set up my network connections so that I'd get connected to the net as soon as win load. It worked perfectly. But after installing all other software I need now I have to wait a minute or even more before I get connected to the net. How can I find out what is slowing down my connection process?

Ctrl-alt-delete...task manager?

Type msconfig in "run" and click on "startup" to list everything booting up.
