Anybody uses this way of linking?

I just found my old scrapbook and there was another way of blindlinking explained.. So now I want to know if anyone here uses that, and would the tgps which allow mouseovers allow this (also useful for CJ sites I suppose)...
Here it goes: instead of: <a href="http://www.sponsor.com?id=yourcode">,
you can put <a href="http://blablabla:[email protected]?id=yourcode">,
and it will still take you to the same url (if the site/directory you/re linking is not password protected). Now, since you can put ANYTHING (including A LOT of empty spaces (just hold the spacebar for a few moments)), between http:// and @, we should be able to do this:
<a href="http://www.disquiseurl.com -SPACES GO HERE- :[email protected]?id=yourcode>.
The goal is to make the real url part, which comes after @ - invisible to the surfer on his status line (it gets simply pushed out by those spaces).
I made a simple test page, and it works with IE 5.5... Netscape 6.0 crashed my windows (buggy installation), so I didn't test it that way..
Please tell me what you think...Oh, and if I just discovered "hot water" http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif, please don't laugh..

Because if I do not disable right-click surfer can still easily see where he will go. This way, if he's not using an extremely high screen resolution, there's no way to find out the destination (except viewing source, but not many surfers will mess with that..)

If you get your pitch right he should have dick in one hand mouse in the other and the last thing on his mind will be the link code http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif

Haha, thanks Susan, I'll work in that direction http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/biggrin.gif

I like onFocus as well as onMouseOver (used together). It works pretty well for right click (but not perfect).
