What was your biggest mistake or problem when you first started as a webmaster?

Trusting the guy I partnered with and his accountant.

Hands down, biggest mistake ever.

didn't scale up as fast as i should have.

Not a mistake but a problem....

Was young when I started (15) and got in pretty close to the beginning... no credit card to really establish a business.

Should have partnered up with somebody but wanted to do it on my own, when I look at the people that were around the chat forums at that time almost all of them that stuck with it became very successful (PK, Ynot Bob, Andy Dunn, Bangwang? (unsure if he was around the Ynot chat much}, etc.. etc...)

Also sent 1000+ joins to call-girls when the Pam & Tommy tape first surfaced... they were paying 3 or 4 cents per click at that time... and I was converting about 1:40... do the math. :(

biggest mistake is to make something before thinking.

My biggest mistake 5 years ago was to read a "biggest mistake" thread.

Letting my shit die and move to other things when everything was doing fine

Starting too many projects at once.

My biggest problem was also no credit card. I had some help from someone to buy my domains and hosting until I turned 18.
