Im buying My First Digital Camera Thursday
 

Anyone have any recommendations? Im buying one for the mexico trip...I saw a very nice one for about $250-350 range..Its small and can fit in my pocket. I need recommendations. I dont wanna spend an extra 500 for 1 pixel or 2 more..The cam im looking at is 3 megapixels..Post some pics if you can also..It would help when i go shopping for one!:drinkup

Sony have good cams in that range ... 3.2 megapixel one is pretty good for travelling . And they don't break easily

Fuji Fine Pix 4 Mega Pixel Camera

This little camera may not seem like much, but it's been excellent for me... I shoot behind the scenes footage and just everyday stuff with it and it works out great.

The canon powershot S30 is one of the few digital cameras that's capable of nighttime / stellar photography... and it's all-around great. :thumbsup

I prefer 35mm for most things though.. unless you can afford to carry lots of rechargeable batteries and memory cards around with you, you're going to have problems taking all the pictures you want.
