RED CROSS: Hurricane Frances To Be Biggest And Costliest Disaster
 

They just ran a bulletin on the news from the Red Cross HQ. She said in their opinion Hurricane Frances is going to be the biggest and costliest and most damaging natural disaster to ever hit the U.S.

I thought it had dropped down to a Category 3 and wouldn't be that dangerous but the fucking thing is as big as Texas! And it's got 9 hours of sunlight tomorrow morning before it hits landfall and could go back up to a 4.

If anybody stayed in Florida you have my prayers.

Here's the satellite animation that gets updates. Looks scary. Best we can hope for is that it gets real cold water tonight and drops that storm to a Category 2 or 1 before hitting landfall. It'll take 24 hours for it to pass over Florida and it should weaken more. What's worse is Hurricane Ivan is hot on it's heels and Hurricane Howard is headed for Los Angeles.
