But I have heard several people say it is OK these days.

Cogent use to be not that great. Now they dont seem to be bad at all. Great way to get quality bandwidth for cheap.

Its good for galleries.. but thats about it I guess.

i think cogent is ok now these days. it had a problem 2 years ago but it was fixed.

We have been using cogent bandwith for 2 yrs now and have had no issues with them at all, our top tier bandwith providers have given us more issues than cogent has. All i have to say is they give us bandwith for dirt cheap and is very very reliable
