Three geeks who steal classic rock riffs and scream juvenile lyrics, usually off-key, on top of it. I've never understood the appeal. Then again, I don't understand the appeal of any 80's-90's band.

Saw them at Lollapalooza. They put on a pretty decent show back then.

People that claim to like rap but say the beasties suck are fools. they are pioneers. A lot of rap fans don't listen to the Beasties much these days but they are hall of famers in the rap game for sure.

mike d actually put LL Kool J on with Russel Simmons when he was just 16 yrs old.

gave them his demo and the first album released was "radio" with the single "I need a beat" and launched Def Jam Records!

Some of their songs are ok! Sabotage sounded pretty ok!!

They were great at what they did back in the day. Most of the slamming was simply because people didn't like their skin colour or background. boofuckinghoo. If you were/are into old school hiphop they were close to the top.

I like them. I don't make a habit of listening to them all the time but if one of there songs come on I will listen. They have some good tunes and have been around for eons. They have to get props for that.
