Notification of Suntrust Internet Banking Unauthorized Account!
 

I have been receiving these emails lately:

We recently reviewed your account, and suspect that your Suntrust Internet Banking account may have been accessed by an unauthorized third party. Protecting the security of your account and of the Suntrust network is our primary concern. Therefore, as a preventative measure, we have temporarily limited access to sensitive account features.

To restore your account access, please take the following steps to ensure that your account has not been compromised:

1. Login to your Suntrust Internet Banking account. In case you are not enrolled for Internet Banking, you will have to use your Social Security Number as both your Personal ID and Password and fill in all the required information, including your name and your account number.

2. Review your recent account history for any unauthorized withdrawals or deposits, and check your account profile to make sure not changes have been made. If any unauthorized activity has taken place on your account, report this to Suntrust Bank staff immediately.

I was immediately suspicious when I received the first one a few weeks ago, because I do not have an account with this place. Well, I know how resourceful and clever scammers are getting nowadays, so I just did a search on them and look at what I found:

I've got to give this guy an A for creativity, but an F for ethics and morality. It's this kind of asshat that gives the internet a bad name.

Been getting that shit for weeks here too, "your account blah blah blah" from 4 different banks where I don't have an account, what a fuckwit :1orglaugh

Got that as well and also from Citibank and also getting the ebay scams today too, GEEESSH!!

I get several a day, from CitiBank and SunTrust.

They sure know how to spam. I get those all the time. They should try porn sites, I bet they'd make a lot more money.

i have been getting those for months, today I woke up to like 10 of them though...that was a record so far

Getting them for a long time now Praypal, Citybank, you name it.

My spamfilters catch it now though :thumbsup
