suddenly - total power failure here - no storm or anything - weird.

my internet connection is on battery backup and i'm working on the laptop - ok it was plugged in but the battery suddenly kicked in.

Battery backups rule.... been using them for years! Can't even begin to count how many times it's saved my ass :thumbsup

I use APC's. Come in handy down here during lightening season.

We have our systems all on Belkin UPS with AVR.

Enterprise solos its Belkin, Voyager shares its Belkin with the cable modem, dsl modem, 2 wireless routers, cordless phone, and Excelsior. Reliant solos its Belkin.

If we get surged, or power out, we can successfully operate for a while.

All of our Belkins operate at 43% - 45% load capacity, incidentally.
