I speak from experience. Anyone who works with single girl sites has to deal with the possibility that the BF will try to step in and take over. It happens all them time, and it almost NEVER has a happy ending. CRASH and BURN.

Contrary to popular belief, not every single adult webmaster on the face of the earth knows about GFY. If she wanted to, she could always find new affiliates who don't know about her past.

The big risk in promoting single girl sites, especially amateur sites, is that the girl might suddenly decide to stop doing the site. This happens all the time. One of my girls changes her mind 3 or 4 times every year about whether she wants to kieep doing her site or not. Right now it's NO, because of Ibill (fuckers).

knowing about gfy and knowing about this are two different things. welcome to the internet, things spread. if they decide not to continue thats fine but they should inform the people promoting them before hand and certainly let their members know the site is closing down and let them finish their membership instead of shutting it down and giving webmasters a big chargeback list. i chatted with her last night about promoting her and none of this was brought up and it should of been if this was something she's been thinking about for awhile.

Like someone said... you will be a lot more unhappy when the chargebacks (and associated fees) start rolling in. Has he offered to pay these if you quit like this? If so, then get it in writing (from him) :)


A smarter compromise to the situation at this point might be to leave the site up with whatever archives you have....and post a statement something to the effect of:

"due to personal issues, I do not know when the next updates to this site will occur. It could be days, weeks, months - or maybe never. If you would like to cancel at this point, I would completely understand. Either way, please wish me luck. -MandyXXX "

And then let your webmasters know the same and let them know that you will contact them if/when updates continue again.


THEN tell your boyfriend "See. I've made a HUGE fucking compromise here. Now prove to me that you're not going to have ongoing problems and never let me live down what I used to do"

If he's cool with you for 6 months without any BS.... THEN maybe consider pulling it all... after giving people a good 30-60 day warning.

Just yesterday, she was running an 80% recurring contest for webmasters. I understand that to be young is to be spontaneous, but this is really over the top. I can't believe that she just decided all of a sudden that this was the thing to do.

It is a VERY sudden move. Making decisions on the spur of the moment like this is usually not wise (but it's the curse of youth). You really need to think things over and consider all the possible ramifications before doing anything. How do you know you won't change your mind again tomorrow? Maybe the guy is an asshole. It is VERY hard to rebuild burnt bridges.
