i am trying to check my stats, and the newest date i can see is Oct 21, isnt today Oct 26??? things that make you go hhhmmmmmmm...

Man.. I've had like 5 support tickets in the last few months about stats logs not updating. It's getting rediculous.

They moved my stats to a new server, finally, and I thought that might be a good fix.

But..

No stats since about 1:00pm Sunday.

I'm sick if this happening over and over and over. Especially after having so many "completed" support tickets, live chat discussions, etc.

I'm even paying to get the raw logs, and they stopped updating a few times.

Aren't raw stats logs a basic function of the web server? (rhetorical question)

feel free to contact me I'll have a tech look into that for you immediately. Stats srever have been upgraded recently if you are having issues lets get it fixed hit me up.

There is a link in the Control Panel to update stats... I assume you tried that? :)

i am on LIVE chat with WEBAIRTECH2 lets see what he comes up with, i tried a manual update web stats and nothing......

YEAHHHHH webair was on top of it, they were on the ball today , i spoke with a tech and he updated it maually.... A++++++++ tech support.............

You didn't read the thread dude?? It's fusionx and other people that have the problems with webair not me, I dont host anything with you.

What kind of person starts a thread "Webair Down?" because your bandwidth stats page doesn't work? So you don't have stats - that means the whole backbone and all its clients are dead?

Seriously - this is a multimillion dollar company that doesn't need some noob claiming their entire operation is down. This is slanderous, rude, and ignorant.

So congratulations on coming off like a big shot. But don't publicly flame a company unless there is a REAL problem.

It usually results in the error message "stats are already in the process of being updated..."

paraphrasing the error message, but it's quite similar.

So, after the 5 - 15 minute suggested waiting time, no stats since last Sunday.

It seems to me that a lock file or something isn't being cleared after updates are performed. I dunno.. all I know is after numerous contacts and documented support tickets, and after it's been fixed by webair techs several times, it still keeps breaking.

Actually, I am a happy webair customer. I'm just specifically pissed about the stats issue.

Everything else is top-notch. And, when I do use live support or a phone call, they get updated almost immediately. It just kinda sucks to have to call to do something as routine as look at yesterdays or last weeks web server stats.

don't you know people here only read the title and first 3 lines...then hit reply...that is the GFY way

I am a Webair customer and very happy. Mike and his crew have went above and beyong there way to meet our needs in the last few months.

Cant believe all this hating.

77962 Closed Thursday March 4th 2004 10:08:37 AM stats have not updated since 00:00

92041 Closed Wednesday May 12th 2004 07:37:43 PM Clicking View Web Stats gives 404 error (also contains stats not updating problem)

108732 Closed Monday September 20th 2004 09:48:01 PM No logs since 8/4/2004

111864 Open Saturday October 9th 2004 11:23:30 PM Logs not updating. Again.

The last one is still open. I received a reply on the 24th saying it's been fixed, and they moved the stats to a new stats server. However, I just checked again, and the stats are stuck on 24th - same day it was "fixed".

I'd say there's an issue here.
