He was convicted of fraud. I may be wrong but I suspect most of his assets were siezed -- just like a drug dealer's.

The Jury wants to give him 9 years. The judge reserves the right to reduce or throw the sentence out completely. We won't know the outcome of that until January.

This guy is going to most likely get time served and a huge ass fine. The judge knows the evidence was weak.

now that makes more sense.. I can't see someone getting that kind of sentence for just spam. Every guy they have busted before that was spamming was busted for another reason.. Like fraud, identity theft and so on. So this guy was fraud then spam was just the delivery method.
