Atheism = perfect for losers?

If all religion is based on the notion of personifying the human impulse for compassion, isn't atheism an invitation for the opposite since it is in opposition to religion and spirituality?

If this is the case, then everyone is just out for themselves with no regard for others. This would lead to the strong fucking up the weak.

It comes as no small surprise that many of the regimes that caused millions of deaths in the last century were nominally/practically atheist regimes--Hitler, Stalin, Mao and their small time imitators.

And there's never been any religious people who have caused such death?

I remember a very similar thread...if I remember well it was posted by you also... "Atheism is for pussy" or something like that...

Your reasoning left the rails before you even finished the first sentence. "If all religion is based on the notion of personifying the human impulse for compassion..."

Try harder next time.

Believing in a religion or being an athiest it both stupid.

Agnostic is the way to go.

So true. So why couldn't someone just roll up to you and kill you? I think that's the true nature of humanity........ why hide behind fictions such as religion?

Yes he went into a period of sigwhoring with troll posts but then went benign again overnight, no doubt after the sigworing month ended.. It was like a different person had control of the nick, or he just went back on autopilot. Just more of the same this time around except without the sigwhoring aspect.
*shrugs* boring.

"Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord."

"My feelings as a Christian points me to my Lord and Savior as a fighter. It points me to the man who once in loneliness, surrounded by a few followers, recognized these Jews for what they were and summoned men to fight against them and who, God's truth! was greatest not as a sufferer but as a fighter. In boundless love as a Christian and as a man I read through the passage which tells us how the Lord at last rose in His might and seized the scourge to drive out of the Temple the brood of vipers and adders. How terrific was His fight for the world against the Jewish poison. To-day, after two thousand years, with deepest emotion I recognize more profoundly than ever before the fact that it was for this that He had to shed His blood upon the Cross. As a Christian I have no duty to allow myself to be cheated, but I have the duty to be a fighter for truth and justice... And if there is anything which could demonstrate that we are acting rightly it is the distress that daily grows. For as a Christian I have also a duty to my own people."

-Adolf Hitler
