Well here's what one court case had to say about it.

Problem with American Law is that there are so many loopholes that lawyers exploit them with abandon.

The legal community is it's worst enemy and the legislative branch of our government is grossly negligent in curtailing these events.

The law shouldn't be confusing. When it is, it's no longer the solution, it's the problem.

Go to sex.com with HotBar installed and it is simply a big ad for sexsearch.com. If you go to sex toy sites all you see is AdamEve ads everywhere.
This especially sucks if you have just payed a buck to get that visitor to YOUR site.

I told my sex.com rep about it and he just laughed and went on to tell me how to remove it, lol. I figured they would care about this kind of stuff, but...:helpme

Quickdraw I know that one. I had to fix that myself. I can't count how many spyware things that I've had to debug that everyone couldn't. When I worked for AOL there was one every other month.

Another one that pisses me off is that 'free porn portal' thingie that pops up and hijacks your browser and sends trojans at the user.

I'm so tired of this kind of shit I'm headed over to my old legal squad and set things right once and for all. It gives us all a bad name and gives the man the proper cause for jumping down our throats.

It is best if everyone in the adult community dogpiles on these types of things. Those that don't are gonna be the ones first suspected.

With some of the shit I've seen crop up in this business over the past year and a half I wouldn't be suprised if one day we all woke up and half the web was gone.
