Processing For Canadians

Any of you guys using nexusxi.com for processing?
If so what are your thoughts about them?

emmanuelle 11-06-2004 01:47 PM

When questioned, they had not even heard of Visa registration for high risk merchants.

They are skirting Visa's rules and should be avoided IMO

Pete 11-06-2004 01:49 PM

Sounds like another one of those processors that go tits up in 6 months

Ha ! I'd not trust them !

I remember those guys...

I e-mailed with them awhile ago, and they are clueless when it comes to adult. I asked them some questions about cross border aquiring and they didn't have a clue what I was talking about.

I wouldn't touch them at all.

If you want good processing, you are going to have to spend money.

Yup, and their "office" is a mailbox etc. address.

Verotel.

They have been around for a long time, and despite the whining and griping of some webmasters, they have survived the problems of other 'established' processors and processors trying to skirt around the USA vs International rules.

They do NOT require that Canadian enterprises become or take on American presence.

They are a legitimate INTERNATIONAL processor.

They actually pay their webmsters (which seems to be a big plus these days) and as a bonus, their wires are always on time!

Sure, there is always room for improvement, but I have found them to be very responsive to my needs and support requirements.

I do business with a company that can get merchant accounts for adult with no problems, (over 50k/month processing), and also have solutions to provide customer service, etc....

and they DON"T require app fees or upfront money, and they are VERY straight up and professional and know this business.

I've used nexusxi before and never had a problem with them. but I am not in canada either. I like the look of the myvirtualcard program also.I think when it comes to processing in this business always have a backup waiting in the wings.

I called Nexusxi the other day. I had someone on the phone right away to answer all my questions. Here's what they said:

In business for 2.5 years
They are a Canadian company with a merchant account from RBC Financial. They are not subject to Visa regulations because they are not in the US Visa jurisdiction. Their chargebacks are very low, RBC is fully aware that they process for adult.

I signed up for an account with them to see how it goes. I'll fill you in on results in a month or so. They seem to be a hell of a lot more reliable than Verotel from what I can see though. And the signup process is very easy as well.

Look at what the big Canadian companies are doing. Don't give too much credence to the opinions of people who may not know what they're talking about.

:1orglaugh How does being in Canada exempt them from Visa regulations?

Have you ever known anyone to admit that they have high chargebacks?

You might want to ask them if they do address verification on the credit cards they process. Most (if not all) of the Canadian gateways seem to be unable to do AVS.
