AFF Conversion Ratios
What percentage of Adult Friend Finder signups convert to full memberships?
We just started with them and have a few signups but no full sales yet so wondering how it works. |
Don't hold me to this -- but about 1 in 20 joins becomes a sale.

1-15 usually for dating is the standard if it's a good program and I've heard great things about AFF
|
Just as a data point - they carry 1:20 as the cutoff for "good" traffic. e.g. if you DON'T do better than 1:20 and you are on PPS they will switch you to rev share.

I believe you are referring to ratio of free joins to unique visitors. I am at 1:6 for that on targetted traffic, 1:13 on general. and I'm at 1:8 for ratio of paying to free AFF ROX MY WERLDE :) |
Thanks for the replies, I had figured 1:20 or so.
After we had signed up I found you cannot send adult traffic to Asiafriendfinder which is a bit discouraging as I have a lot of quality asian traffic coming as exits from niche paysites. Is there any asian dating site that accepts adult traffic? |

I have never noticed that on their site. |

Well you could redirect for China. China sucks for adult anyhow at the moment. There is the whole rest of Asia though. :) |

What kind of program brings your more money, PPC or reccuring? |
Adult Friend Finder - Prohibited Traffic Technique
Yesterday, while surfing a mainstream site, I got a pop-up from Adult Friend Finder. I traced the source of the pop-up, and it is Standard Internet's popuptraffic program. Far as I know, promoting AFF to mainstream traffic is strictly prohibited by the Friend Finder franchise. Here's the link: http://adultfriendfinder.com/go/p123790.subaffpop2 and it's served up by: http://z1.adserver.com/w/cp.x;rid=80...t=3;ac=7;c=415 And, yes, Standard Internet is the company that regularily denies any involvement in spyware/adware. Strange...reloading their popuptraffic code several times yesterday produced the following windows: *spywarestormer - a "spyware" removal program which has been included in most security lists as a trojan *funwebproducts - another known trojan *free screensavers - wow, do people still fall for this one *game assistant - adds adware / search override to your browser *a ton of programs from casalemedia - you don't have to look far on any security board or McAfee or Norton, to find this company listed Way to go Standard Internet...you and 12Clicks must be shaking in your boots about the impending spyware/adware legislation. Frankly, it will be nice to see you scramble. |
