damn, I pay $45/month for 1mbit which fucking sucks ass. And ping times suck ass for games on it.

I get 3mbps download (stated) and actually around 3.5 to 5mbps download (actual) with my charter account for around 39.00

You sure about that? You must work for them.

My brother works for Comcast as 2nd tier tech support and he said cheapest is in Midwest for $29/month.

It's double that (canadian) for 1.5mb. 2.5 is only 10 bucks more....

50 $ a month gives me a fuckign good speed . I've done as much as 8500 kbs :)

i just ran another test it says 3mbit download and its $20 for the first 6 months then goes to $44 which i dont mind at all.

that is the interoductory price. after the introductory period they jack it up to 40 some dollars a month. but it is still a hell of a lot better than dial up. I would never go back to dial up.

I get 7mb a second for $30 a month as part of a package deal with tv and phone but my top speed has been 11.58 mb...

Fortunately for me, the box for the whole neighborhood is on top of the pole right in front of my house so I get the strongest signal out of everybody...Close to T2 speed at all times.

I have no cable, but I pay 79 euro's ($100) for 500kb/s download and 100kb/s upload speed. Pretty expensive compared to the US
