Why do people use these services i am curious?

Me personally, I've had a bad experience with a jealous webmaster who grabbed my e-mail from my whois and mailbombed it daily =/

That and I don't believe that people should just be able to see who you are and where you live etc.. name sure, e-mail fine.. telephone number maybe, home address no.

Privacy is very important to some people. :) Knowing your address isn't being passed around.

I do not recommend register fly though.

Don't use registerfly.com, I had a lot of issues with them awhile back. Stay Away.
