As the time draws near to the
launch of IwantU 7.0, I'd like to take this chance to showcase another new feature that will be implemented for the new version.
The technology is called PrivateCall and what it does is allow IwantU members to speak with each other via telephone. The catch? It's completely ANONYMOUS and AUTOMATED. I won't go into full details, but the basic premise works like this:
- You set your own schedule of what hours you are available for calls
- Someone reading your profile can opt to send you a PrivateCall invite for a specific date/time according to your schedule.
- You are notified of the invite and can accept or decline it.
- If accepted, at the agreed upon time, the first party is called by an automated system. You are asked for your PrivateCall numeric password anonymously (no mention fo IwantU or your name).
- If password is accepted, you are put on hold while the system connects to the other member. Same procedure, they must enter their password.
- If thats done, the callers are connected live and anonymously!
This feature conquers one of the big fears about meeting people online: personal safety. Many people are very hesitant to give out phone numbers, so this helps them move forward without fear.
Another lucrative option here is phone sex. Long-distance is also not a factor, as you are called by the system and incur no phone charges.
VIP members will receive 15 minutes free with their membership, with an option to buy more minutes with their tokens. This should increase paid conversions as well as retention, as members get hooked. There is also an option for mid-call buying of more time, something that will make you more money as an affiliate =)
