Why do people feel that email should take 1 day to respond to, when they can respond on ICQ immediately?

I don't send emails unless they are business or CS related.

No, they should respond in a timely manner. I'm more referring to Support emails.

Even a quick "I'll look into this and get back with you" is better than nothing.

Support / Customer Service is seriously lacking in the web-communitity on the whole.
