Halfway between seattle and vancouver .... far west on the water surrounded by the san juan islands.

Tons of orca families that live there... two new babies in the last couple months as a matter of fact.. oh dear I think I'm turning into a tree hugger... It is gorgeous though

I wish that I appreciated the beauty around me when I lived in Wisconsin. Now I'm gone and it's too late.

OMG! Those pictures remind me of exactly why I moved away from there! Yes, very beautiful indeed. But I've had enough rain to last me a lifetime!

I totally understand that suicide thing. When you wake up 300 days out of the year to either rain or dark clouds (or both), it can have a serious impact on your attitude and outlook on life. I don't miss that place one bit.

My friend works at the doctors office and this time of year people flood through there getting prescriptions for anti depressants... It's very helpful to jump on a plane here and there throughout the winter and get some sunshine somewhere...
