Halfway between seattle and vancouver .... far west on the water surrounded by the san juan islands.

Tons of orca families that live there... two new babies in the last couple months as a matter of fact.. oh dear I think I'm turning into a tree hugger... It is gorgeous though

MandyBlake 12-08-2004 01:26 PM

That is beautiful.
I wish that I appreciated the beauty around me when I lived in Wisconsin. Now I'm gone and it's too late.

I like the first picture. You can see the rain falling on the lake.

mahoney 12-08-2004 03:53 PM

Very Beautiful....However, Washington State does have one of the highest suicide rates and "they" say it's because of the crappy wheather.:2 cents: :(

longbrick 12-08-2004 03:54 PM

The Benz goes well with the scenery

Alex 12-08-2004 03:54 PM

who is "they"

NaughtyRob 12-08-2004 03:57 PM

Very pretty. Especially the morning dew dripping off of the Mercedes logo.

OMG! Those pictures remind me of exactly why I moved away from there! Yes, very beautiful indeed. But I've had enough rain to last me a lifetime!

I totally understand that suicide thing. When you wake up 300 days out of the year to either rain or dark clouds (or both), it can have a serious impact on your attitude and outlook on life. I don't miss that place one bit.

axelcat 12-08-2004 04:28 PM

looks like a nice place to live

xclusive 12-08-2004 04:30 PM

Can't wait til I move to Kentucky to be on my farm the mornings there are beautiful right now I go out my front door I see a cemetary...

My friend works at the doctors office and this time of year people flood through there getting prescriptions for anti depressants... It's very helpful to jump on a plane here and there throughout the winter and get some sunshine somewhere...

Yeah look at Curt Cobain and that guy from Alice and chains... both blew their brains out...

Looks like one of those mornings you want to crawl back into bed, oh I love those days.

Does look beautiful up there though!

Bama 12-08-2004 05:24 PM

It SUCKS here

If it were not for my daughter's school, I'd have left looooooong ago.

That said, RRRed can hug my trunk any time!

Heroine was just the means. It's the weather, trust me. I successfully committed suiced twice while I lived there. And another three times unsuccessfully.
