Real or fake Christmas tree?
There are Pro?s and Con?s for both? which one do you like best? Some of those high-end fake Christmas trees sure look good.
|
chop down a tree, use it for a month, and then throw it away.
|
we always use a FAKE christmas tree - one, because real christmas trees don't last that long two, we don't have a real christmas tree here and last but not the least, FAKE christmas trees can be used for so many years.:thumbsup
|
I grew up having only real trees and love the smell of them but they aren't as practical anymore. Fake trees, especially pre-lit ones are much easier and save money in the long run. And help conserve trees! =)
|
come on, keep it real
|
The smell of xmas tree is worth more than a crappy plastic piece of shit, regardless of how useful and cost-effective it is.
That being said, I won't get either. |
if real christmas trees would be available here in our country, then i'd go with the real one...
|
only the real shit
|
real tree
|
Fake.
|
Can't you get the smell of christmas tree in the can? :)
|
Fake
|
Real...
This years tree is 11 feet tall and about 10 feet wide at the bottom skirt, its fucking massive... 10 strands of lights on it already and were adding all the other decorations tonight. |
I celebrate Christmas at my parents house and they got a real Christmas tree.
Do yourself a favor and get a FAKE Christmas tree... |
fake tree for me
real tree to messy |
how long do real christmas trees last?
|
fake ...
its a bitch to get and maintaine a real one and its a bitch after xmas to get rid of it ...:2 cents: |
REAL!! no way a fake one, that is mega lame. I love the smell when you walk into your house.
doot, real ones can last long enough. Just need to make sure their is water in the stand and fill it regularly. How long do you guys actually want your tree up? Me.. i put it up Thankgiving weekend and take it down New Years Day (depending on the serverity of the hangover). |
There sure are some real looking fake Christmas tree; they even smell like a real Christmas tree.

my cat would destroy a real tree so i've got a fake one
now what I've never understood is why someone gets a real tree then wants it flocked (that fake snow shit) nothing better then ruining the fresh smell of an xmas tree with painted sawdust |
Fake.
Although i can't be fucked putting any tree up this year... |

i'll go for fake christmas tree :feels-hot
|
sad to report, a fake one again.
hopefully next year a real one will be a option again. |
Real christmas trees over here! I have never even entertained the thought of a fake tree, the real ones smell so good, and it's fun to go pick one out. They can last a long time, just have to water it, I have never had a problem getting rid of it after I am done or cleaning up after it...
|
we're not getting a tree this year.
in the past we've had fake ones. i must say that if we were to get a tree again, i'd rather have a real one. they smell incredible, but i'd be afraid that my dog would think it was indoor plumbing. the reason i don't like fake trees is..although there is no real upkeep, you still have to take it down after xmas...which sucks. a real tree you can just throw out. |
Nothing beats a real tree.
|
fake one you can reuse
|
Real.
The smell, the look is much better. Plus they grow 'em on farms etc. here so its better for the environment than some fake plastic one that'll end up in the dump in 10 years. :) |
I got suckered into buying a real one this year.
Actually pretty cool, makes the house smell nice. Just drinks more than a fish. |
for sure real christmas tree, I hate those fake ones....:BangBang:
|
gotta go real I love the smell even if it is a twisted tradition.
|
Splurge a little and save the trees. Fake trees are also low maintenance. And when you have a a martha stewart touch like my girlfriend does you can dress it up really nice.
P.S. MY girlfriend rocks |
fake trees are for losers! :1orglaugh
|
a real one for sure! Don't like plastic shit...
|
Neither, I will be skiing, again.

Having grown up with real tree's, getting pricked every night trying to water it, cleaning up all the hundreds of dried needles on the floor... FAKE ALL THE WAY!
Been using the same fake tree for 5 years and it looks just as good as a real one without the hassle. |
I've had both, this year I think we might by one of these this year.

It ain't Christmas unless its real!
Can't be bothered? What's wrong with you people!? This is Christmas! Get in the holiday spirit! If you have kids, getting a real tree is a great family activity. Go pick the tree together, set it up, take care of it, and undo everything after Christmas. Woohoo! |
Fake is easier
