my 92 year old Grandpa on Webcam
 

My grandpa was sooo excited to get a webcam for xmas. It was awesome.

I've been bringing mine over on tuesdays and we broadcast after lunch.
He needs my help to set it up each week, but the look on his face when he realizes he, "...can be seen anywhere in the world!!" is absolutely priceless.

So for Xmas, I got him his own, "World Broadcast Station."

Just watched the video, and have a couple of observations.

1. He has a personality that he should be on tv, or have a webcam show for talking to people that need someone to give them the encouragement to go on, when they might otherwis be ready to give up.

That's awesome man I loved my grandfather very much he's been gone 5 years now...

He digs it. He loves walking me through the whole lunchroom when I visit. He was even considering doing it himself last time he went to the salon...but the ladies at his retirement village talked him out of it. :)

I agree, baddog. He is awesome. I do a webcam radio thing with him every tuesday: HugNation.com. And I'm trying to get him on camera as much as possible. (some more videos on grandpacaleb.com)

He is a retired minister long time activist for peace. He believes the united nations is our best path to the future.

His skin still looks pretty good for 91.

That rocks.. I wish my granddad was still around, I used to have a blast with him. Some of my best memories are riding on the back of his harley going to a river to fish..

Yep. His retirement community is awesome. He walks on the beach 3x week, does Tai Chi, yoga and is in amazing shape.
