How many km of trails are out there? I need to figure out how many days I'll be going there for :)

about 600Km in the area around gimli in 4 directions

we did about 100 miles today - often at speeds of pver 100mph

how long were you out there?

You mean how long you'll be lost in the wilderness for? :)

I'm already scared of the great cold north! Eeks!

from about 1pm till about 7pm - with breaks for dinner and rest stops

I hope you keep a GPS with you at all times. That is an absolutely breathtaking place, but I could see if you go off trail it'd be easy to get lost if it started to snow hard and the trails got covered and you had no way to naivigate with cloud cover blocking the sky points.

u and me are on the see food diet lol

The older I get, the more I hate the cold. Looks like a fun day out though...

don't really need it when you know the areas - always within about 5-10 miles of major highways - and the trials are all snowtrackers trails - marked and maintained

but i do have one for quadding - easier to get lost doing that

KRL - would you like to come up here for a snowmobiling weekend?
