Getting wisdom teeth yanked...damn :( (pics to follow)
 

I am more fucked up about this than when I got myself fixed.....anyone else recently had theirs taken out? The dentist is putting me in some drugged out stupor but I hate getting my mouth fucked with. Anyone had any problems with theirs? Put my mind at ease or post the horrors...

should be fine. they sedate you via IV and then it takes about 2-3 minutes to get them out. you should be fine. they will give you persciptions for vicadin and whatnot. it hurts for some poeple and others feel fine. either way your mouth will be a bit sore and maybe swollen

Thanks, he did say I wont care at all when they are yanking them out. He even said he could carve his name in my forehead and I would not even blink....I am wishing for Perc's.

when I had mine removed mid-thirties...there was pain...blood and my mouth still has yet to recover (werid tastes) and that was over 3 years ago.....but good luke dude...

pussies. I just got the area frozen, tooth yanked and I walked home. No pain killers at all.

You poor bastard. I had them all taken out at the same time and I would of rather died and spent eternity in hell.

I HATE having my mouth messed with and am a total puss when it comes to it. I was on pain killers and then got dry sockets. Fuck that was horrible. Thank Jesus they all came out because I would NOT evr go through that again.

Not true. I had all my 4 yanked, and it was quite nice.
Actually, it was so nice, that I had one extra tooth yanked just for fun.

The weird tastes may be coming from an infection in your mouth unrelated to the tooth removal. Maybe gum problems? I would have that looked at.

Last time I had weird tastes in my mouth it was because of an infection. I needed a root canal. Fuck. Those sucks also.

Doesn't hurt too much! Secret is when you get home start eating ice cream. I didn't for first 3 days till someone told me and I kept bleeding until i did.
