Thank you Dotster for my Free Domains
Just got this mail from Dotster :

Looks like the .info registry will do whatever to get those info domains publicly known |
Looks like Dotster took a page out of Enom's playbook. In case anyone didn't see the news item, Enom registered about one million (1,000,000) .info domains during the last week or so of September 2004. They undoubtedly did so through the free .INFO promotion at the time, and they registered the .INFO names with the names and contact details of the owners of corresponding .COM domains under Enom's control.
On a side note, Enom did all of this through it's twin company, Sipence.com. Sipence used to be a great place to register domains for $6.95 but now it seems they have adopted the same $29.95 pricing structure Enom has for non-resellers. Too bad. :( |
.info are great as freebies...
|
Not a bad promo at all
|
We received our 'present' today too....
|
People are throwing Info's away. I believe registerfly are selling them for $1 each at the moment =/

a shame they don't do promo's like that on dot com's :)
Would be nice with a, 'get 24 free .com domains' promo.. now that would be sweet :winkwink: |
