194? I'm jealous. I would kill to be that again. I got down to 199 at my best drop when I lived 1 block from the beach and was doing a 6 mile beach walk every morning.

I lost 20 pounds in the last month of 2004

GTS Mark 01-12-2005 11:09 PM

The most I ever weighed was about 270lbs. I lost 60 lbs in 3 months... (No Shit I was very depressed because of a relationship breakup, never ate and worked out 2-3 hours a day)

Now I am about 235-240 which is a bit heavy. I would like to bring it down to about 210.

DH

SmutGiant 01-12-2005 11:09 PM

Went down then up about 45lbs during the course of a year. 2004 was a depressing year, and lost my apetite a lot which caused me to lose all the weight. Things are looking good this year though, can't wait to start hitting the gym again once I get rid of this damn pnemonia I have.

Keev 01-12-2005 11:14 PM

yea my goal is to do what DH did.... 2004 was a rough one for me.

Same here when I broke up with my ex I dropped 35 pounds. One of the worst times of my life emotionally. Couldn't eat at all like I usually do.

:winkwink: i havent been in the 180 range since years ago. but when i quit smoking about 6 years ago i packed on all the weight. then in 2003 i became really active, i started palying soccer and ate my meals 3 times a day on schedule. i cut out carbonated drinks too. and just by doing those simple things i lost all that weight. i still eat what i want, but i make sure its at decent hours though

JJSLIMM 01-12-2005 11:25 PM

I lost 50 pounds but gained back about 15 over the holidays.. Gotta get back on track now...

I'm suprised you haven't turned THAT into a money making website! "THEKRLDIET.COM" LOL!

Lost about 30 lbs in 2004 and still going down. Have "refined" the atkins diet into my own version which is working for me. total down since 4/03 is over 60lbs.

Sosa 01-12-2005 11:26 PM

I actually stayed about the same, lost 65 lbs in 03 though

Shap 01-12-2005 11:33 PM

I haven't gained much weight but I don't feel like my old self. I definitely not in good shape now (compared to the way I used to be). I broke my ankle in November of 2003 and that combined with nonstop work I've just let myself get out of shape. I'm hoping to reverse that in 2005. I need to drop 15 pounds :thumbsup

I gained 10 lbs last year. look to gain 5 more this year

quiet 01-13-2005 03:27 AM

i lost 36 lbs over the spring and summer (from 221 to 185), but after being off my feet for so long, and not being able to do the calorie-burning activities that i had used to get my ass into serious shape, i've crept back up to 204. so i guess 17 lbs net right now. i'm 6' 3", and would ideally like to get back to 185 and maintain that weight for good.

beemk 01-13-2005 03:31 AM

im up about 10-15 pounds of muscle

Webmaster_Logic 01-13-2005 03:32 AM

I gained 65 pounds in 2004 :(

emthree 01-13-2005 03:48 AM

I put on alot more muscle mass in 2004, but looking to decrease body fat in 2005.
Stubborn areas are a bitch, something weighttraining doesnt allways help with.

I was curling 50lbs but still had shit on my arms :(

Did you guys ever check your body fat %?

Jakke PNG 01-13-2005 03:52 AM

I *think* I'm about the same. 10lbs here or there, doesn't make much difference in the 320lbs I am or so. :)

I'll lose some this year, or something. I'll bump this in 360 days ;)

Rui 01-13-2005 04:05 AM

I've lots some Kg's but that is not ok cause the idea was to actually gain weight....go me eh...

Jer 01-13-2005 07:51 AM

karlm 01-13-2005 07:52 AM

I saw the end where they showed before and after. I guess it's easy to lose weight when you can devote all of your time to it.

Jman 01-13-2005 09:24 AM

Lost 15 pounds and still looking good ;-)

sickkittens 01-13-2005 09:26 AM

It's not about the weight, it's how you look. :2 cents:

brizzad 01-13-2005 09:32 AM

it's all about analyzing the amount of calories you're taking in per day... if you fall on the extreme end of body types (ectomorph, a body type in which they find it difficult to gain mass) - you have to pay close attention to calories and macronutrients (proten, carbs, fats). knowing exactly how much you need to consume to build mass is important with your body type.

weight gaining supplements alone aren't enough to really help.. the focus should be eating plenty of food. fish, chicken, meats... and plenty of vegetables/fruits/pastas...

oh yeah, and assuming you didn't work out hard enough, goin to the gym 4/5 days a week with intense weight training.

BradM 01-13-2005 09:41 AM

I lost 70 pounds in 2004

Peaches 01-13-2005 09:41 AM

Gained 20 last year, 20 the year before and 10 the year before. I'm going the wrong way!!! :(

Basic_man 01-13-2005 09:42 AM

Still 180 for over 2 years now ! :D

Mr Exotic 01-13-2005 09:45 AM

I started trying to lose weight back around Thanksgiving of 2004, I wanted to quit smoking, but in the past when I quit smoking I have balloned up like a huge whale. I am already a pretty big guy, when I hit the gym everyday and watch what I eat and am in excellent shape I still weigh 240, but the last time I quit smoking I let myself get all the way up to 335, so needless to say I would rather smoke than be that fat, after I started smoking again I went down to around 310. This time around I thought I would quit smoking and go on a diet at the same time, and even though I still have a shitload of weight to go I havent felt as good as I do now since I first started being a webmaster (fat, unshaven slob who sits on the computer all day, haha) in 99 and was in decent shape. Last summer I did get my first exercise in in over 5 years by playing in the summer softball league, this year I am already lined up to play in at least 3 leagues. Anyways the main thing I have done is completely stop drinking sodas or anything other than water, I still eat everything that I used to eat, just in lesser quantities. Before I started this diet I weighed 316 and now I am down to 298, 18 pounds in 2 months aint too bad, especially since I havent started exercising yet.

Jeff aka NIGHTfall 01-13-2005 09:49 AM

i went from 220lbs to 175lbs at the end of the year.. all i did was smoke alot of pot, and not eat munchies, just drank water and cut my eating habbits down from eating all thoughout the day (stoner style with friends) down to 1 meal and no snacking...

EZRhino 01-13-2005 10:50 AM

I lost 10 lbs :winkwink:
