Know of any really good PHP file directory scripts?
 

im looking to set up a file download system (for both local and mirrored files) - i can require people to register first or not - i can add unlimited cats, subcats, sub-subcats, etc. I need lots of control over permissions, daily limits, etc, etc

ive tried all the script directories, im just fishing for GFY opinions on particular scripts

Write one yourself, then you will have all the features that you require, and none less :thumbsup
