Advanced Submitter - what am I doing wrong with it?

I have a lesbian gallery and I have like 800 tgps that are available for it. So I do make the galleries, and run the submitter and when im done, only like 50 actually get submitted.

and then I run the confirmer and it always crashes so only like 30 or so get confirmed. wtf am I doing wrong?
Do these sites somehow block auto submissions or something?
Its a waste to only have a fraction of these galleries getting through.

A lot of them don't allow automatic submissions anymore I would let advanced subbmiter do the work up until the point where you submit then do that by hand

Turboface 01-14-2005 02:01 AM

Check the active categories in the settings part. Also, don't use the auto-confirmer. That's easy enough to do by hand.

:winkwink:

Submit by hand, many TGPs change their submission script or the location of their submission area frequently to combat autosubmissions, plus you have all these human verification codes, frequent changes in description lenghts and thumb sizes that make it quite difficult to run an autosubmitter over a longer period of time.
You'd have to maintain the DB frequently by hand to keep it updated for autosubmission, so IMO you'll end up with less hassle and work if you just handsubmit right away :)

BTW: I'm selling my own DB in my Sig :winkwink:

Put it up for auction on Adult Industry Auctions. It won't cost you anything because I'm putting $20 into everyone's account when they register.

BTW about Email Confirmation:

Take a look which emails really get confirmed by advancedsubmitter, there are a lot of TGPs out there that try to avoid automatic confirmations, so I've setup a email filter for them.
So after submission I let advancedsubmitter confirm all emails but don't delete them afterwards, and then I download all emails again in Outlook and my mail filter redirects all unconfirmed emails into my folder for manual confirmations.

I find with a bit of practice you can actually confirm manually quite quickly(duel moniters are a must though).A bit teadeous but you know your site has been confirmed!Or you can outsource to a brown person somewhere for about $20 to do this for you!

Thats awesome! how does your outlook know if an email has been confirmed or not?
whats your filter criteria?

I already bought the upgrade database that they sell on advanced submitter.
If I buy yours can I combine it with the one I have, or you can only use 1 database at a time?

I have to agree that I confirm emails from important TGPs a second time sometimes, just to make sure, but normalwise the auto email confirmation works quite well.

Which are the biggest/best TPG's anyway.. I'm amazed at submitting to 800, how do you manage link back requirements for 800 TPG's?? How many hours is it going to take you to do all that?

As a starter you can setup Outlook that it redirects all emails that contain the line "Confirmation ID:" in their message text, cause 99% of these messages can't be confirmed automatic.
And then setup a filter which simply watches out for specific email addresses you'd like to manually confirm, but you'd have to compile that list manually.

And another good idea would be to setup an filter which redirects all emails from your partner accounts, just to make sure that you don't miss anything important.

You can merge DBs in Advancedsubmitter quite quickly, but backup all your DBs (old and new) before you touch anything
Just goto the "Database/Database Tools" Tab, load your old DB, export Sites-All.dat, Rules-SiteSpecific.dat and Rules-Generic.dat and save them somewhere on your HD. Then load your new DB, and import the three .dat files from your old DB and you're finished.
It might be neccessary that you'd have to resort the new DB a bit since both DBs might use another system for "Weight" or Categories, e.g. I have Lesbian TGPs in the Category TGP_Lesbian, and the other DB might call that Category TGP_Lesbo, so you'd just have to rename TGP_Lesbo to TGP_Lesbians under "Database/Database Tools >> Actions over Submission Types" in bulk.

But I can assist you with that if you need any help :)

Advancedsubmitter places the Recips automatic, and with a good DB and a bit (or more) practice you'd need about 2 hours to submit to 800 TGPs.
But Practice is the key factor, with your first submission you'll need a day.

Ha, sorry I didn't know that, so they let you pay for something you can't costumize in a usual way?

But that doesn't matter, I think it should be possible to do it the other way round, just use the .dat files of my DB (if you buy it :) ) and import them into your current DB.
I just hope they don't try to avoid any imports too, but we can test that with a test DB before you buy my DB if you'd like to.
