Does IE understand XHTML?
well, does it?
|
if I'm correct, yes.
|
I red some documents from my college course in xhtml and it says that IE doesn't.. however I don't know how fucking old the documents are.. and I can't believe it wouldn't support it, according to the docs mozilla does support but ie doesn't.
can anyone verify which is true? |
|
Hmm.. I'm starting to think IE really doesn't support it:
http://www.porngreen.com/shit/test.xhtml http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ww...t%2Ftest.xhtml Firefox shows it correctly, it's correct according to w3c.. yet IE asks if I want to download the page. :1orglaugh GO MICROSOFT GO GO! |
i think it does...pretty sure but wtf do i know :thumbsup

The problem with MIME types for Web pages is that most of today?s browsers do not support application/xhtml+xml. Among these ?old-fashioned? browsers is the popular Internet Explorer 6.0 for Windows.
