IP addresses
 

Is there any piece of software, or a website that you can plug an IP address into to find out who or where the are???

After installing all this damn antihack software, all I see is that I'm being attacked constantly. I've been hit by the same 4 or 5 IP's about 100 times in the past hour.

I want to find out who these fuckers are.

Can anyone post any links?
Is it even possible?

if the ARIN dot has this IP ... he will show u a other url to make the whois request

i u working on a unix box or u have access to it

I also have a little free tool that, you can ping them 1 to in the 1,000's and scan there
ports, to see if they have any open ports, not going to tell you what I do when I find open port on these ass holes Puter's though.

When my ZoneAlarm pops up more than 3 times
on any IP I fuck with them.

I use samspade http://www.samspade.org/ssw/
it will do a lookup on an ip or domain name along with traceroute, ping and whois.

Hey Redshoe.... that really sucks man!

I uase http://www.geektools.com for all that stuff...has everything you need in a windows format.

Also have a look at this software. I DL'd it a couple of weeks ago and it has done nothing but good for me.
