If you wanted to compete with ITUNES?

Where would you start?

Who would you talk to in order to get the licences required if you already owned the technology?

Empfänger Emil 02-07-2005 12:11 AM

KRL 02-07-2005 12:11 AM

you would talk to each individual record company and see what kind of cut they wanted....but if you weren't guaranteeing them millions of dollars a year in sales you can pretty much say fuck it now

Sears Salesman 02-07-2005 12:17 AM

too many barriers to entry IMO

desus 02-07-2005 12:24 AM

figure out a way to make people stop buying and using ipods

JulianSosa 02-07-2005 12:25 AM

You would be smarter to make ipod covers or mini mac purse/covers

I didn't take sewing in high school.

Don't do it. You need a capital to start that shit.

Getting the license deals would be tremendous. Probably cost a lot up front too.

I was not talking about taking over...I was talking about geting a piece of the 1 million songs per day sold.

The only way you can compete is with price. If you're willing to front the cash and work on slim margins or loss leaders, it may be possible to steal some of their customers.
