real estate question

I'd like to invest some money in real estate. Does anyone know what books about real estate investment are worth reading?

best bet is to find someone that you can trust that is doing good with real-estate and have them help you.

Also, that book is great, but if you are serious about getting into real-estate then go take the classes to become a real-estate agent. Just do it so you can learn the basics... it's a must if you really want to get serious doing it, even if you don't get your license, take the classes.

What state are you in ?

Az real estate is hot, talk to Mark at www.propertyaz.com and tell him Barry sent you. He's made me a fortune helping me with AZ real estate investments. Whether its a quick flip, or a hold and rent situation, he showed me exactly what to do and I live out of state.

I live in Europe :)

I'd like to find a few good books to learn more about the basics before I start asking others for help. Just to make sure they're taking me in the right direction

I agree a person who is already successful can provide you with practical advice is a great idea.

Lots of other people said it before me, but Kyosaki's Rich Dad Poor Dad is excellent for getting into real estate investment, they've got a good series going now too.
