How do you retain PR on a dropped domain?

Any particular methods that work?

You usually don't. Google kills it.

you dont, drop it and move on. Unless you mail google to unban you but i would suggest you dont do anything until they unban you or your wasting your time.

YARGH! if you mean a domain that be expired? Just register it, as long as links stay the same, and ye be keepin' a similar page there, PR shouldn't be sinking a bit.

If you need to see what a page be looking like before, check googles cache, or ye be tryin' the wayback machine.

For obvious reasons... From what I hear, catching a dropped domain with the backlinks retained is a crapshoot.

Some will have it retained, others won't.
