I havent used Outlook for ages but from what i remember there was an 'export' feature in one of the drop down menus which lets you export your address book and a bunch of other options.

it is able to export fine but unable to import at all. I've lsot everything once relying on it's own export/import feature.

You're better off just going to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook and archiving all the files there.

I tried heaps of OE backup utilities awhile back and most were useless but I eventually found one that I was really happy with.

Toplang OE Backup

Its not freeware though.
