...was just that...a battle. A couple of days ago I heard a report that something like 80 plus US troops were KIA and more than 1,000 WIA. Not exactly a walk in the sun. I was not aware of the numbers when the battle was on going.

It ticks me off that we suffered the losses when it was not necessary to do so. Fighting with one hand tied is bad policy...as was proven in Vietnam. Fucking civilians micro managing military ops always pisses me off.

I must still be asleep. I could have sworn I saw a post by theking criticizing something done by this administration. :upsidedow

carpet bombing would have saved soliders

I have been critical of civilians micro managing military ops all of my adult life and I have been critical of the current admin multiple times because of their micro management.

FYI...I am critical of most of this administrations policies...as I am not a fan of President Bush and never have been.

Yes...it would have but there were other alternatives available which would have been somewhat less severe than carpet bombing.
