I happened to be in Trinidad during the coup and missed the Westerm cover up, but I did get first hand info from Venezuela and Trinidad. I'm still not 100% about Chavez but he has tons more intergrity than Bush and Rumsfeld and Rove and all those ass clowns.

chavez needs to lie low. i don't understand why this administration feels the need to meddle in everything, but it is getting old.

Here we go again.

This is just from memory:

1. Chavez is supporting Marxist terrorists who are trying to overthrow the Columbian government.

2. He has just signed a deal with Cuba to allow Cuban intelligence officers to track down Cuban disidents.

3. As South America is on the verge of some prosperity (just for once), Chavez is threatening to destabilise the whole continent.

4. He is allied to democracy's enemies in the Middle East.

I'd love to see Chavez get assassinated. Venezuela deserves better.

Yeah that was a good movie. It's impressive how the U.S. media views Chavez and the CIA tries to overthrow him when a large majority of his people overwhelmingly support him. He represents the poor and has done a lot of good for that country. I was there 5 years ago and was almost killed (car jacking), and I returned last year and it's turned around a lot.

Chavez however, isn't very diplomatic and hurts his people by being so non-diplomatic with countries with power.
