Saw rock legend Jimmy Paige today
 

We were at Best Buy and I was kind of oblivious to this guy standing across from me..he walks away and starts to come back and my sister says..."Hey you know who that is?"

And it was Jimmy Paige...he just said "Hey," and kept walking by.

I saw Led Zeppelin only once, but I have seen the Page-Plant band several times. The best of the Page-Plant shows was with Stone Temple Pilots opening, and an orchestra coming on stage for several songs - "Kashmir" and "No Quarter" never sounded better.

The most interesting show I ever saw Page play at was a Ronnie Lane ARMS benefit concert. Page didn't look entirely healthy, sitting on a chair during his entire solo set, but he still did a kick ass acoustic "Stairway to Heaven". However, the real climax of that show was when Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck all took the stage together and did several songs, including some extended improvised jams. IN-FUCKING-CREDIBLE!!!

Hard to believe that dude is in his sixties.
