ok, I've DL'd Seek and Destory, Yahoo Spyware Tools....

and I am still in a nightmare.

What is the best to get rid of this spyware/popups and overall hell I am dealing with. :(

you need to google and download webroot spysweeper

first update is free and will solve your probs

Some of those shit you can only remove manualy so check the google for solutions

"hijack this" is the tool you need.

adaware, catches 99% with some free plugins even more :)

I used spysweeper....adaware...etc......still had issues...then found http://www.tenebril.com/products/gho...pycatcher.html

and it found 200!!!! other files those didn't even find.....works great!!

Microsoft Antispyware (still in beta) beats 'em all. Wise move from MS to buy Giant Software last year...

So, if you're having problems with spyware, dl the MS antispyware and let it fix your windows.

Do a Google for "Castle Cops" it's a great forum and I can usally find the problem a computer has by searching the threads. Be careful with "Hijack This" it is a great program but if your not paying attention you can delete registry codes your computer needs.

It took 3 REFORMATS to get rid of it

It turned out it had made its own 2mb partition!

2 tips, get the MS program, then switch to Firefox lol.

Oh yeah, STOP USING INTERNET EXPLORER!

Stop accepting mail with attachments

Get the microsoft anti=spyware thing, it auto runs daily and is pretty good considering.

Stop download programs from unknown sources.

I keep getting a popup that is from "microsoft, provided by verizon" that says I hav spyware on computer and must be taken care of, but it lookslike a popup ad/spam to me tho it says Miscrosoft.

get full version of spyhunter and hijackthis... run spyhunter, then run hijackthis, take a screen cap of what hijackthis finds and post it here, ill tell you what to remove :thumbsup

BHODemon 2.0 did the trick for me. I tried everything else before that.

I have now (after that episode) been on Firefox 99% of the time I surf. I am a convert.

ok I've spent the last hour dl Microsoft AntiSpyware and letting it do its job. It found like 80 threads and I've rebooted 10 times cuz it keeps popping up critical alerts. :disgust

geez and I am still getting popups and other shit..I am going to do hijackthis now and do what u said. thanks everyone...I'll be back with an update.
