Capturing Analog Video Onto Your Computer
 

Okay, am trying to capture analog from camcorder onto the laptop for editing.

There's more bullshit than not about how to do it and the normal routines ain't workin'. Consensus is that it's the way Windows Media Center is hooked up. Even at their site it gets confusing.

I've got the composite in port and sound comes in beautifully but no vid.

Tried an RF Modulator too...

The companies tout these new desk and laptops but don't troubleshoot enough and we have to figure the shit out.
