I had someone ask me that the other day..and I really had to think...and on many days..i like the computer better..

Of course.

Duh, no contest.

I don't know any people who would pay me to sit in front of them in my underware for hours at a time. My beloved computer does this for me everyday.

My computer is just a piece of hardware, only a tool. It's a tool that I use to communicate with people.

I don't think you can compare a telephone to a person.

I supose the real question would be; do you like communicating with people using the computer or in person?

There is pleanty to be done with a computer that has noting to do with other people.

Can you give a few examples of things that can be done with a computer that have NOTHING to do with other people?

Most of these things you don't do for yourself, you show it to other people.
Also keep in mind that all the software you mentioned was created by people.
The buttons on your mp3 software or the manual for your CAD program were created by people, you are looking at other peoples ideas and designs, that's communication.

My whole point was that not everyone is you.

The programming language you used to write your utility was created by people. Your text editor was created by people etc. It may be passive or one way communication, but it is still communication.
