What was your job prior to being a webmaster/webmistress?
Anyone mind sharing what they did before they went full time into being a webmaster/webmistress? As for me, I worked with a friend of mine putting up vinyl siding, patios and gutters!

Health care worker in the ER of the second largest hospital in the city. In fact, that's HOW I got my start towards webmastering... I injured my back while lifting a drug-overdose patient onto a stretcher back in July of '97, and couldn't continue working there. After 15 years I figured it was time to learn how to turn on a computer, so I found a free course that offered job re-training.

I studied pure and aplied sciences for 3 years at College Boid-De-Boulogne (First year, I was in the chemestry/biology, but I quickly realised I should take the engineering path, hence the two more years), Then did 1 year of logic math (circuitrie and semi-conductor applications), and now I'm in computer science engineering at Concordia University.

I worked at Wal-Mart for 6 years. I was the Department Manager Of Electronics. It wasn't too bad working up there. Running electronics was really fun. I liked dealing with the other associates. The managers on the other hand, didn't know what the fuck they were doing half the time.
