Can formmail send out an email?
Like after someone has submitted the form can it send out an auto email back to that person who just submitted the form?
yes
No, it's not an autosubmitter... but you CAN send them to any html page you like.
Or, maybe the answer is yes....
you do it the same way you would setup 1 field to send to 2 different scripts, or DB's method and post to 2 cgi's, then setup you success template as a normal html forward, then the second cgi sends a mail to whatever feild you posted to. got it?
or you can always go to www.resourceindex.com and get a script that will do this at the same time instead of posting the field twice
Wow.... that's kind of a duct-tape way of doing it, but yeah... I guess that would work... I assumed he was asking if there was something built into FormMail that could be enabled to do it... and the answer to that is no.... but sure, it could be rigged that way.
if you can't duct it fuck it!!!
i can fix anything with duct tape and a hammer i swear |
I was asking if it was a built in feature in formmail guess not ah. Oh well don't really wanna fuck with another script.
a little duct tape, some chicken wire, a good strong stick, and some gum...
AMP are you in MacGuyver mode too?
no non no, it can be done with just formmail but it's 2 processes, 1 send out to the first recip, then on the second method postto the person who filled out the form from the field where they enter thier email
