I believe they only process CCs for Canadian webmasters now

They lost their merchant account with RBC Bank In November, and they owe a lot of webmasters here.

Here's the last thing I got from them on Nov 17;

Dear valued merchants/webmasters,


In order to answer your questions more efficiently, we have compiled the following FAQ regarding the situation:


Q. Were checks/wires sent out for 2004-11-16?
A. No, the account was frozen before the checks/wires could be sent out. The Nexus XI system will continue to generate checks and wires. They will be sent after the 6-8 month timeframe.


Q. I have just received a check for 2004-11-01, is it still good?
A. No, please return them to us. We will issue you replacement checks once our assets have been unfrozen in the 6-8 month timeframe.


Q. Can you still rebill my customers?
A. No, all agreements and links to the banks have been terminated.


Q. Will my members/customers still receive the term that they have already paid for?
A. Yes. All rebilling accounts were canceled yesterday, and all of the customers will receive access for the remainder of the term. The processing platform will be left online to send expires (end of term) messages to all of the integration scripts.


Q. Should I delete my Nexus XI integration?
A. No. We ask that you leave the scripts live until all of your active members have fully expired. This will ensure that you don't have accounts that are left in your password file forever.


Q. Why can't I phone/email Nexus XI?
A. We are in the process of eliminating unnecessary expenses, because the corporation doesn't have the assets to pay the telephone bills or employees.


Q. Will the nexusxi.com website be taken down as well?
A. No. We will leave our website online, and the billing platform to honor subscription expiry.
