16 Yr Old Girl allegedly gang-raped in school auditorium, teachers do nothing
 

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Police say several students witnessed the sexual abuse of a girl at a Columbus high school.

A 16-year-old student with developmental delays said she was dragged into the auditorium of Mifflin High School and forced to perform oral sex on at least two male students while more than a dozen other students were called in to watch.

"(The girl's father) asked if we were going to call the police. Mr. Watson said, 'No, we don't want to do that. We don't want the police," Upshaw said.

Watson is one of three assistant principals suspended for 10 days. Principal Regina Crenshaw will likely lose her job, NBC 4 reported.

Administrators reportedly warned the father that if police were called, the news media would follow, NBC 4 reported.

outside of the sick fact that the poor girl suffered through all this, the idea that the staff refused and actually tried to stop the father from calling the police stuns me. No wonder some kids today or totally fucked up when the educational system acts like the catholic church

It happened in a High School I went to in Brooklyn, but it was all between girls.
They told the girl she had to give oral infront of many people or take a beating.

sad, school is supposed to be their second home and these people in-charge should
be taking care of them as their parents do

I am more or less the only female in my extended family not to be a teacher. I know none of them could just sit back and not report that information.

I am thankfull that was not my kid, because there would be a lot of bodies all over that school.

It's crazy, one school calls the cops on a girl with Midol, but another won't call the cops for multiple sexual assault. To quote an old saying, the whole world is going to hell in a handbasket :(

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A Columbus high school principal was fired for failing to call police after learning that a female student had been sexually assaulted by four male students in the school auditorium.

The Columbus Board of Education on Tuesday placed Regina Crenshaw on unpaid leave from her $95,000-a-year position at Mifflin High School and began termination proceedings.

The board also handed down 10-day, unpaid suspensions to three assistant principals and said they would be transferred when they return.

Superintendent Gene Harris said police, the parents, children's services and school district administrators should have been notified immediately about the assault on March 9.

In court documents obtained by NBC 4, the four male students allegedly grabbed the 16-year-old Mifflin High School student by the arm and took her to the stage area of the auditorium. Two of the male students allegedly forced her to perform oral sex on them, according to the documents.

Police said one of the students videotaped her performing the sex act and then took the video equipment to math class to show other students, NBC 4's Nancy Burton reported.

School administrators confiscated the videotape and talked to the girl. But relatives of the alleged victim called police, not the principal or any of the assistants, Burton reported.

The father of the 16-year-old girl, who is developmentally disabled, had to call police and take his daughter to the hospital.

What does that mean? She was mentally handicapped and they did this to her??

sounds like she is mentally slow...learning disabilities...so without knowing how extreme they are..yes.
