I just ordered a shitload of Creatine.
Plus a load of other supplements.
Anybody used Creatine before? Is it really as good for muscle building as people say it is? |
It puts water in your body, and no it's not good
|
Cancel your order. It's definitely not good for you. Ever experienced full body cramps?
|
I am about to do the same...
|
I'm sorry to say that you wasted your money ...had little to ne effect on me and at the time i was working out hard
|
I've used Creatine from EAS and never had a problem.
|
I use it, and I notice that I can do/lift more, without my muscles getting 'exhausted'
Be sure to get yourself some whey proteine too :) |
I had a friend that did the same, he build fast but it just puts water in your muscles or some shit, wasnt sure to mention that if i heard right or not thou, once he stopped he lost everything fast.
|
Don't listen to the above posts, at least the negative ones. I've taken Creatine Burst for a while, it's a GNC product. It WORKS. Period.
All creatine does is overload your body with carbs, which is more energy. When you go into the weight room, you'll be able to do a little more weight, and you'll be able to more sets as well. This increases your productivity, and you build strength and therefore much, much faster. Creatine is completley natural. Yes you can get cramps, but that's only if you don't drink enough water. If you are dedicated to lifting very regularly while you're on this and afterwards you will fucking love the results. |
Hmmm, conflicting reports...
What I was told is that yes, it transports water to your muscles, gives them more energy etc. I think I'll give it a go, but really don't like the sound of full body cramps. A mate who used it said he was farting like a trooper... |
check out cell tech
|
Creatine is a natural product found in many foods, most notably steak.
It is useful if you use it properly, ie you do a loading phase then a maintenance phase. You'll experience weight gain while you use it, don't worry, it's just water retention, it'll go when you stop taking it. Gains vary though depending on the user |

say goodbye to your bladder :thumbsup

I have used C4 Creatine several times when I get back on the weights, I have never had the problems noted here and have made significant gains on it real quick (along with a real good lift routine).
I would not stay on more then a month or so. And yes you will retain some water Go ahead and try it if it is a real namebrand product dont touch the cheap stuff :2 cents: |

it's useful for EXPERIENCED lifters ONLY. If you just start - you need at least 3-4 years of serious work before. When you can make 5 dead lifts with (your own mass x2) - start to think about it, otherwise - waste of money and not a health like it was mentioned in some posts. |
Liquid creatine is the best because it isn't hard on your body. The powder stuff is really hard on your organs.

I used it a few years ago. I put on some good weight, then when I got off of it (back then the thing was 3 months on [1st month loadup, 2 months regula]r & 3 months off), I lost alot of the weight since it was water mass. But I did keep some off it.
When I went back on it I got sick as a dog. So I stopped. Ive seen it work for other people, theres diff. kinds you can take & should see whats best for you. Personally I dont think I would use it again. Weigh Protein and regular work out etc has been working well for me now. Im not huge or jacked but Im putting better weight on this way. Oh DONT DRINK if your on that stuff, its already messing with your liver etc. drinking make things crazy bad for you when your on that. GL to ya. |
I don't like the stuff its kinda nasty on your body I think but I it does help you lift weights
I just take a spoonfull in a carb drink after I lift weights I don't do the loading crap don't ever go out drinking after taking it that gives me the worse hangovers ever... |
110% YES for Creatine - if you get it corectly
|
All Creatine does is make you retain water.. You will look Puffy
Get NO2 |
creatine worked very good for me :thumbsup
|
your going to die!
|
I've used.. Didn't give me any probs.. Works. Taste like ass though.
|
havent tried it but would like too...
|
It works really well. Make sure you load it rite the first 10 days and keep taking it steady for 6 weeks. Side effects are muscle cramps but nothing major.
|
It works great, atleast it did for me. just make sure you are near a bathroom. nothing fun about instant unexpected diarrhea while on the treadmill.
|
I've read several studies and talked to several trainers that say there's no need for a loading phase...that's just a marketing ploy to sell more creatine. I didn't load and used it only on my heavy muscular workout days, and saw effects; it was the only time I could actually gain weight while burning over 5000 calories/day. Of course a lot of that is water weight, but there are more gains than that.
HOWEVER (!) there was one study done suggesting that creatine causes the production of three-headed sperm! (I wish I could find a reference...I was only told that by a trainer friend who thoroughly researched Creatine) |

Why do you say you shouldn't stay on it for a month or so? |
I have a friend with several supliment shops, he recomends a month on a month off never really asked why, but he is in killer shape so I follow
|
order from www.stacklabs.com .... youll see what size is all about! :thumbsup

If you carry around a water bottle with you all day and just drink it as you need it, you won't have any cramps. Plain and simple. |

1 thing that should be mentioned is that a possible side-effect is egg-nipples. A friend of mine used creatine and had to have them surgically removed, he'll never live it down :1orglaugh
|
i tryed it, it did make me stronger, but once you stop using it you go back where you left... not sure if it's worth it :error
|
That's the main ingredient in the diet Anna Nichole Smith does.
I also hear it helps re-build your musles faster after your tear them from a good workout. |
Creatine is HIGHLY overrated.

yes it works... ask Chris Jerrico
|
don't listen to these fat slobs...they think taking a scoop of creatine and sitting on their asses is going to make them look like arnold overnight.
Buy yourself some high sugar juice and mix with the creatine. Drink lots of water and that should hold down the water retention and also keep you from getting dehydrated. Your muscles will look bigger and you pumps will be huge after the second day on the stuff...but like they said above its all water that is squeezed inside your muscle cells. Creatine helps in that it assists in your recovery, endurance and strength. All things which are vital to muscle growth. The stuff works...hundreds of studies prove that. |
oh P.S. Cell Tech is a fucking rip-off. You can get an alternative with the same exact ingredients for 1/4 of the price.
Never buy muscle tech products. |
