Hmmmm When I woke up this morning my computer had rebooted over nite. Guess my auto update thing did that for me >)

Not sure there is a connection, but I got that update and ever since late night on the 12th I can't open anything in a new window with IE. I'm stuck as to how to fix this.

I don't have to worry about all those mickey mouse XP patches. Been on 2kPro for over a year now. No problems :) ....except when that big worm outbreak was hitting everyone worldwide with 3k+ emails a day. After patching that I was good to go. In fact, I have had the "updates available" icon in my tray for 8 months now and never clicked it heh. no problems.

I prolly should click it tho before I get proven stupid and catch something sinister.

Yep. Same here. Always pic custom. Sometimes their 'updates' (used loosely) can fuck up some other shit on your PC.

so true. every now and then they try to stick me with sp2. i know this because custom or express install comes up. always check custom.

I'm sticking with sp1 and firefox lol
