Silicone implants ARE banned already, have been for years. They are voting on whether or not to allow them to be available again.

Women can still get other forms of implants, so there is no big panic.

Silicone implants have been legal again here for some time. They have a tougher shell now but the core is still silicone.

they're governing what type of breast implants a person can get? so saline wouldn't be available anymore? what?

Not true man, read the Bill on the books.
It is being voted on in Congress next week.
A company stepped forward and claimed that Silicone was not dangerous, provided PROOF studies on tested women, and showed that Saline WAS more dangeorus and is asking that ONLY Silicone be allowed. THAT is what Congress is voting on.
