Issues Upgrading From XP Home to XP Pro?

Are there any serious concerns? Driver/software conflicts, etc?

It's really the same OS, with some additional features, right so there really shouldn't be any issues upgrading. Has anyone done an upgrade for XP Home to XP Pro?

I'm adding a 3.2TB direct attached Ultra 320 RAID 5 SCSI device for storage. Unfortunately XP home doesn't support dynamic volume sharing. So, XP home won't see anything over 2TB as a single volume. XP Pro supports it. :thumbsup

just make sure you have your driver cd and you should be fine.

i removed home from my laptop and installed pro. no problems.

We've got A LOT of full-length videos and I prefer to keep all the original video files archived for future use. Also, would like to be prepared for the move to HD should we decide to do that in the near future. :winkwink:
