Switzerland, London and France
what are THE things to do..... THE things to see in these 3 spots? I'll take any suggestions... but would really be interested in some of the undiscovered treasures that are not polluted with tourists..... going in July.

In Switzerland, you can stand outside and get your dick out and jerk off to how beautiful the scenery is.
|
OK go to London and Paris first, becuase when you go to Switzerland you will probably die of boredom because of how boring it it
|
I like the markets in London......
Brick Lane, Camden (Touristy), Dalston (A Lot Of Ethnic Foods etc), Columbia Road (Flower Market Sunday AM)... There are loads more but these are the best in my opinion Montpellier is my favorite city in France... Great student scene and just a really nice place Have a good time |

Then after that have several pints at a nearby Witherspoon and then head of (half pissed) to another boozer with Sky Sports on a big TV and watch the football results / commentary. :thumbsup |
The markets in France are nice as well. I'd suggest visiting at least one well-known castle, go on a winery tours, and just explore on your own.

France! :)
|
I never been to any of those countries.

Switzerland - Go hiking in the hills off Zurich - near lake zurich - pack some small bottles of champagne, cheese, bread and hit the trails.
Try to visit the library @ the university of zurich. Hit up Geneva - A bit more mellow than the peeps in zurich. London - go to the british museum - very big. I hit up an apartment rental for 161 pounds a week - I stayed 4 weeks - found it online. France - Paris, dude - buy good sneakers and walk - the Louvre, La defense are fine, but hit up the back streets of paris. Clock some baguette and good french wine. Try to dress like the locals. |
just a tip...check out lastminute.com before or when you are in London. There are tons of cheap deals on shows, gigs, food, etc.
|
Thanks for the info.... what else?
|
the problem with france is that there are a lot of french people running around there...
you gotto like that :winkwink: :1orglaugh |
Go to belgium..if you are in France you aren't that far away. Go see Ghent. If you like draw dropping beauty in a city you should like it.

I would skip France. I've been living here for a couple of years and it's really over-rated. Especially if you are coming in july, the crowds will drive you insane. (It's crowded at the best of times.)
The french are also ultra-conservative and go out of their way to let everyone know their point of view on politeness. I'm Quebecoise and they are NOTHING like us. Even our versions of the french language are drastically different. London.... Hit the white chapple pub! Order a pint of Courage and kick back. The people are a blast and you have to try some of the home made bangers. They ROCK!! Oh and the beefeater guards will attack if you lift up your skirt and piss on their shoes. (Hey I had a few drinks.) Switzerland... Go to a steam bath!!!! They are super nice people! They are wonderfully efficient. But the best is the saunas and steam baths! If you choose the "RiGhT" sauna you can get pretty lucky. Oh I went to a unisex sauna and met this guy. I swear to god he was built and looked just like Kevin Smith. (Aries on Hercules and Xena) And he was close to 2 meters tall!! Lord he was gorgeous!!! Man he rode me, right there in the sauna like a bitch pig in major heat. I couldn't walk straight for 2 hours afterwards. |
What about Nice and Cannes? Anybody ever been there? Too hot in July?
|
Just enjoy the alps when you're in Switzerland.
